I’m looking for a grow guide for my husband who grows medical cannabis indoors. What’s the ‘best’ and most comprehensive book for indoor growing?
In California they allow those with medical marijuana cards to grow plants for personal use. GFY.

I have searched on the internet and most of what I find writes about as if they’re teaching you to grow a field of this stuff illegally(I have my medical marijuana card).
Questions:
How often should they be watered?
What are the best fertilizers, climate conditions, and bug and fungicide controls?
How long dose it take for the buds to mature?
What’s the best way to prune them?
Can you cut the buds off a certain way that saves the plant and will allow it to bud again?
I live in Palm Desert(a desert^_^) just to let you know what the weather is like here. Cold December through mid march, perfect mid-March to May, blazing hot June to September, starts cooling(90-80 degrees) down in October and November.

Change the search to “outdoor medical marijuana growing”. An out door grow is an outdoor garden.
Tips on security and planning the grow are all apart of any good grow bible.

ok I plan to be a doctor and a friend and I were talking about medical marijuana. I think that if a patient was suffering from a condition that they thought that marijuana was helping than it would be ethical for me to prescribe it for them. And unethical for me not to.
What do you think should guide the decision for a doctor to prescribe marijuana?
BTW I don’t smoke marijuana. And I want to be responsible.

I don’t have a strong opinion against recreational marijuana use for Adults but abuse..I mean heavy use.. is damaging and it bothers me to see people become toast.

The problem still lies with our laws. I truly believe that the laws should be changed so that a Doctor doesn’t have to make the decision of either following the law or helping their patient.
Marijuana has significant benefits in certain cases and should be utilized to it’s full potential.
I have been a nurse for over 25 years and have seen countless people suffer when the solution could have been so simple.
The decision should be left up to the Doctor,not the government.
It’s been approved for use in a few states (coincidentally most of the ones I have lived in) so why don’t they list it in online drug guides?

It is classified as Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act; meaning it has no medicinal value, is addictive, and has a high potential for abuse.
I don’t agree with this, but until the FDA changes their mind, marijuana will not be on any drug list other than one of highly illegal ones.

If there exists a legitimate medical purpose for it, I see absolutely no reason for restricting marijuana. For that matter, I don’t see why it is illegal anyway.

So i want to grow a plant in the woods behind my house. Ehh. It’s going to be pretty hard simply because most businesses will be leary of hiring someone they don’t know because of trust issues ya know. Your best bet would be to ask around and call a few different places to see if anyone is willing to take you in.
