Ok i am getting cold fusion hair extensions. With cold fusion hair extensions you need i-tipped hair. Every time i search cold fusion hair extensions, it looks like it is done the same way as Micro link hair extensions. Can someone please tell me if i am right or explain the difference between the two.
Yes you are right cold fusion simply means any hair extension that doesn’t use heat or wax to secure the extension:).
I have hair extension and I currently sew clips onto the track for easy application. However, it’s a pain in the butt and they’re difficult to keep in.
Has anyone here used the hair extension glue? How long do the extensions stay on with glue? And can the actual extensions be reused after glue has been applied? Will my hair become damaged from the glue?
Thanks in advance!
You can’t re-use hair extensions once glue’s been applied to them. You should have a professional stylist glue them in for you because they’ll have a better view of your head; you don’t want the glue to get in your real hair. For extended wear of hair extensions, the sew-ins rather than the glue-on’s are recommended.
A few of my friends said that hair extensions are very useful for changing the outlook, but I am afraid that others can find it quite easily that it’s just fake hair extensions easily…Can people identify it as fake quite easily?
It depends on the quality of the hair extensions. Obviously human hair extensions will look most natural. Another factor to consider is how the hair was cut and styled with the extensions. Some people have the extensions put in without shaping them to their natural hair. This will give it an obvious divide from natural hair from her head to the extensions.
Im using bonding hair extensions not tracks. I need to know what the best glue is and the easiest to get out of your hair with minimal damage. I dont care about cost. Thanks!
If you want to pretip them yourself then liquid gold and liquid gold bond dissolver.
Otherwise keritin pretipped strand extensions and liquid gold bond dissolver again.

I’m thinking about getting extensions. I want ones that can’t be pulled out so the ones with clips are a definitely no-no.
What are:
Pre tipped nail hair extensions
Pre tipped stick hair extensions
Hair extensions weft
Micro ring weft
and which ones would suit my life style the best?
I horse ride, put my hair up quite a bit and need ones that can’t be pulled out if my baby cousin pulled on my hair.
I use the pre tipped nail hair extensions and LOVE them. They’re crystal-tipped, and made by Lord & Cliff. Buy your own extensions before going to the salon and you’ll save a fortune.
Basically im getting some 16″ hair extensions glued in, by the track method.
Cutting pieces of weft, then just glueing in.
But, the longest part of my hair is only 5 inches long, so Id have long extensions and short hair on top. It would look stupid!
I want layers in the extensions so it blends and doesnt look as obvious.
What do I ask for at the hairdressers?
Can they do it?
Tell them i want you to put in the extensions but i also want you to cut it in layers and of course they can do it
I am thinking about getting knew hair extensions, but the clip ins are a lot pricier than the glue ins. I was wondering if i could by glue in ones and sew clips on to them?
forgive the spelling :3
I certainly don’t see why not.
I have thought about it before,
but i was rather faithful to my glue-ins.
I had to stop though, the glue stunted the growth of my hair.
I noticed it wasn’t just mine either,
my two best friends used them two & we all started using them around the same time.
None of us grow an inch of hair where our tracks sat for about two years.
Okay so i bought the Stain Strands Premium 100% Remy Human Hair I-Tips But i Don’t have The extension Tool, I heard this tool is about $30 but i Dont have money(:, Is there another way i can put them on ?or do i have to buy the Extension tool? Someone told me i could use a straightener because it is almost the same, that i can use it to melt the glue and stick it to my hair, Is this true?
i actually put extension hair in my girlfriend’s hair. she buys this glue at the same place where she gets the hair. u apply glue to the edge of the fake hair and just press firmly onto your own hair. dont put too much glue, just on the edges so its not all over the place…
I did the hair extension myself because of price. They look good, but my hair is just a little darker then the extensions. I would like to dye my hair anyways and now that I ahve the extension I don’t even know now if I can dye my hair. If I can what kind of hair dye?? If it is possible..and keep in mind price.
it all depends on what type of extensions you used. If you used synthetic hair then I wouldn’t recomend dying the them. If you used real human hair you’re all set. They can be treated the exact same way as your hair. I suggest using a demi permanent color only because they don’t have the harsh chemicals like permanent dyes do, that way you wont cause too much damage to the extensions
