Well it my first time having a weave and I would like to know if it could fall out when the thread gets loose. Because I have it in now and feels like the braid ( my real hair) and the thread is getting loose and I don’t want it to fall out during school. Also is it more likely to fall out in a fight..

Its getting loose because your hair is growing. If you know how you can unbraid it & rebraid it or have the salon touch it up for you.Yes, if it gets too loose it can fall out.

I want to be able to style my weave like it’s my hair. I don’t want to part it and not be able to see scalp or not be able to put it in a high ponytail without lumps and bumps. I’ve never had a weave before but I’ve seen plenty of bad ones.
    Thanks in advance.

    GROW YOUR HAIR YOURSELF!!
Please take my advice on relaxed hair:
First of all, keeping your hair moisturized. This is as simple as wetting it in the shower, or wetting your hands and running them through your hair. DO NOT buy any moisturizer that has MINERAL OIL or PETROLATUM! care free curl gold and s-curl are popular moisturizers . you can get them at wal-mart. Do NOT use that Pink lotion!
2)use a wide tooth comb(as little as possible, maybe once a day) to avoid hairs breaking.
3)Wash your hair at once a week with shampoo. I wash mine with JUST conditioner sometimes too.
4)after shampooing, DEEP CONDITION by putting condish on your hair and putting a plastic cap over it and leaving it on for 15-30 minutes
    5)massage your scalp daily
6)do not put any oils or “grease” on your scalp. Same goes with hair.
7)Try to relax your hair less. Every 8-10 weeks or longer!
8)You know your hair is breaking because if you look on the ends you will not see a white bulb. If you DO see a withe thing on the end, that is just shed hair. You shed 100 hairs a day, so it’s all good. If it IS broken hair, do a protein treatment (use Organic Roots Stimulator mayonaisse or Aphogee 2 minute)
9)Try to put your hair up. Or protect your hair by leaving it in braids. DO NOT LEAVE BRAIDS IN TOO LONG or you will loose your hairline!
10)Do not limit your hair care products to the “ethnic” section of walmart. A lot of that stuff is crap *cough* Motions *cough* Creme of nature is really good though

I’ve heard of plain weave, twill, and satin, but are there any other common weaves of carbon fiber that can be easily bought?

I have this wonderful bamboo yarn that is smoother and silkier than silk. It’s also incredibly luminous. I decided to weave it into fabric for a loose fitting tunic as a jump on Christmas presents. But, I’m a beginning weaver and I’m wondering what pattern/treadling/threading I should use to 1) maximize luminosity and silky texture and 2) create a solid weave structure suitable for a top.

    - Please and Thankyou !

I want to buy some hair weave and I know that remy hair is good but is there another type that is better? And what is a really good weave brand. There are so many,Model Model,Dream weaver, milky way etc. Are there nay experts out there who know any good brands and can you give me some tips on the maintance styles and how to wrap it.

  11. admin109 says:

In my personal opinion I get weave in my hair all the time even though my hair is long remy hair is really good hair but way to expensive for me the more expensive it is the less hair comes in the pack milky way is what I use when I want straight human hair at a good price so if you don’t mind the price remy is perfect but if you just want a good brand without paying over 100 a pack milky way is good when it comes to wrapping my weave I put it in a clip or pony tail and put a satin cap on it. it dosent come off in the middle of the night and it keeps the hair soft so its ready to style in the morning over all there’s alot of good brands out there just do some research online and know what you want before you buy because weave is NON REFUNDABLE!

I’m thinking of getting some hair extensions put in make it look like i have lots more hair, and to lengthen it, of course. So is there a difference between getting a weave and getting hair extensions? Should I be asking my hairdresser for a weave instead of hair extensions, or are they the same thing?

    Thanks.

Weave Is Strands Of Hair Sewn On A Peace Of Material. That Then Either Gets Glued, Or Sewn Into Your Own Hair.
Extensions Are Platted Into Your Hair, It Makes it Look Like You Have More Hair As Weave Can Go Flat.
It Depends On What You Buy, Although You Would have To Take Out Your Weave And Wash It Ect.

    Hi,

I recently had a sewn in weave in my hair for two months. I took it out yesterday, and have washed it and deep conditioned it. I have tons of new growth that I need to get relaxed. I know with individual braids you’re supposed to wait two weeks until you get a relaxer, but I only had cornrows in my hair for about two months with the weave. Do I need to wait the same amount of time to put in a relaxer? Thanks in advance!

  15. blessedonein06 says:

Yes you should wait two weeks so that you can let your hair breathe a little bit and then when you do get a relaxer make sure that your scalp gets based really good with the protective cream and also make sure you apply a filler to your hair on the already realxer hair so that it will not get overprocessed

I’m buying a new Judo gi and i just want to know what the difference is between a single weave gi and a double weave gi. The double weave is significantly more expensive.

  17. Judoka says:

Double weave judogi’s won’t last forever. They will last for a long time but mine is getting shredded a bit and I’ve had it for less than two years. A double weave gi will be thicker. Simply put, if you’ve ever felt a single weave gi imagine it being double the thickness and double the weight.

If you are a lightweight and you are trying Judo for the first time I’d buy the single weave. If you are 200lbs. or over you probably should get a double weave. You can buy a low end double weave gi for under $100.

My afro is averagely long and thick, but I’ve seen some pics of beautiful big and pretty afros that were achieved by using weave. I know that there are plenty of straight hair weaves, but what kind of weave would I buy to achieve an afro? When I go to the beauty supply store, what kind of weave would I ask for?

  19. pineapplepower says:

Afro extensions are a little bit harder to find because they aren’t as in demand as straight hair. There are a few places that have it though. The Baby Curl makes for a nice curly afro. I’ve heard great things about khamit kinks hair. They also have a great picture gallery of afro weave styles:
